Neo-Whatever

October 1, 2010

Until recently, I’d never heard of neo-Confucianism.

My first thought was, “Is this some sort of twisted form of neo-Nazism or neo-conservatism that the West imported to China?”

Freedom to the extreme is the American way. In fact, most Americans may not realize that there is a Nationalist Socialist Movement (Nazis) in America that worships Hitler and annually gathers to protest.

An American Nazi

At this point, you may be having images of Nazi storm troopers invading France and Russia or Hitler promoting terrorism while gassing Jews by the millions in concentration camps.

To learn more about this American homegrown fascist group see Nazis Exposed.

Then there are America’s neo-conservatives. These people want to export America’s current form of democracy and commercialism to the world using the U.S. military along with bullets and missiles. They brought us the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan.

The good news is that there is nothing to worry about. Neo-Confucianism is not a radical threat to freedom leading to wars and concentration camps.

Leiden University says, “The rise and development of neo-Confucianism is the most important intellectual phenomena in China in the last millennium.”

Neo-Confucianism developed during the Song, Yuan, Ming and Qing Dynasties and still represents the core of ethics and attitudes toward life and even worldviews for modern Chinese in many fundamental ways.

Unlike the American neo-Nazis and American neo-conservatives, who are so much into violence and hate, Chinese neo-Confucianism is into keeping a good balance between the practical and the ideal, the secular and the holy.

Sun Tzu’s “The Art of War” – Part 7/10

August 22, 2010

During the invasion of Normandy, the allies survived on death ground exactly as Sun Tzu predicted by fighting together and never giving up.

Sun Tzu meant when you put troops in a combat position where they must fight or die, there is no choice but to fight.

Another reason the Allies succeeded during D-day was another of Sun Tzu’s rules of war. He said, “It is essential for victory that generals are unconstrained by their leaders.”

The allied command structure gives total authority to General Eisenhower as supreme commander.

However, Germany under Hitler did not have the same command structure.

Hitler had set up a confusing system of overlapping authority so no one had total control over the military leaving Hitler the only one who made final decisions.

Hitler’s command structure is a perfect example of what Sun Tzu says about “no interference from the leader”.

The allies in France are bogged down in difficult terrain. The combat losses are horrible and little progress is made.

The solution is found in Sun Tzu’s rules of war. “Make your enemy prepare on his left and he will be weak on his right.”

The allies will follow this rule.

Blaming the Jews—Again!

March 28, 2010

Hitler blamed the Jews and killed millions. Christians blame today’s Jews for the crucifixion that happened almost two thousand years ago. Many in Islam want to destroy them.

Now, the Mathaba News Network is doing it—blaming the Jews for the world’s financial crisis. Look at the headline Mathaba splashed across a page on their Website about “Currency Wars“, a best seller in China about the current world economic crises, and the picture they use. Both are biased and misleading . Are the writers and editors at Mathaba racists and anti-Semitic?

Cover for "Currency Wars"

“The book’s author, Song Hongbing, claims that behind world-changing events like the battle of Waterloo, Adolf Hitler’s rise to power, President Kennedy’s assassination, and the deep recession in Asia during the 1990s stood an intricate conspiracy aimed at increasing Jews’ wealth and influence.”  Huh—the Jewish people are responsible for Hitler’s rise to power?

Reading further, I discovered that the Rothschild family is mentioned as the prime villain. Since when does one Jewish family represent thirteen million people?

I’m not Jewish, but I have Jewish friends, who are not part of a global conspiracy to control the world’s currencies—two of my friends are teachers, another runs a non-profit, and a fourth is a designer, but according to Mathaba’s headline, they are guilty because they are Jews. Who owns Mathaba? Iran.

I’ll tell you the real reasons why “Currency Wars” is a bestseller in China. China hasn’t suffered from the economic crises, and they control their currency. The Chinese want to know how the “masters” did it and learn from their mistakes.
