Adam & Eve, Ancient Astronauts and China’s Yellow Emperor

“And Moses brought forth the people out of the camp to meet with God; and they stood at the nether part of the mount. And Mount Sinai was altogether on a smoke, because the Lord descended upon it in fire: and the smoke thereof ascended as the smoke of a furnace, and the whole mount quaked greatly.”  Exodus 19:17, 18

In China no one knows for certain where the Yellow Emperor came from.… He was known as the Yellow Emperor in honor of his contributions to agriculture and the Chinese calendar. In addition to farming, his wife, Lei Zu, is credited with developing the idea of growing silkworms and creating silk. The Yellow Emperor is also noted as the creator of Chinese medicine, and the origins of Taoism and Confucianism trace their roots back to this mythical Emperor, who may have lived almost 5,000 years ago.

“Then one day, a yellow dragon descended from the sky to take the Yellow Emperor back to heaven…. Myth says, he ruled for a hundred years before leaving.”  Source: The Yellow Emperor

Is the Old Testament’s description in Exodus a space ship landing on Mount Sinai, and is the Yellow Emperor returning to heaven [on what sounds like another space ship] a myth or reality?

In addition, consider that the Biblical Moses and the Yellow Emperor were both on the earth about the same time.

I am curious to find out what blog platform you are using? I’m having some minor security problems with my latest site and I’d like to find something more safeguarded. Do you have any suggestions?

In relation to your other post on the comparison between Moses and the first “yellow” emperor of china, one minor detail to the story is the yellow emperor ruled for more than 100 years. Then there’s the story of Lao Tzu who legends claim to have lived over 500 years, possibly longer. How about the story of Abraham and Sarah from the old testament? I always wonder if they counted years according to a different calendar that we have not yet discovered? I want to think “days”, but something like 500 days…they’d just be learning to walk, so how can they be these “elderly” people of longevity? I understand that the world of the past was different than today, but I wouldn’t imagine many lived past 40. 60 was capable a few times by kings and emperors that employed the best medical man of the era. The other way to look at things is they didn’t have “modern” man-made medicine at hand, or contaminated food. Everything was natural. The problem with that theory is it suggests that humanity is devolving, or for a better phrase, “becoming stupid”.

I just ran a thought I had and might have a plausible solution. Many of our ancestors celebrated the changing of the seasons. For instance, Christmas was actually a pagan festival for winter, which the church slapped baby jesus in there so as to aide in the process of stopping paganism and convert the non-believers.

    • The changing of the seasons could be the answer. Haven’t thought of that before.

I did think it might be timed to the moon in some way. I just read that there is usually one full moon a month and sometimes two. The moon revolves around the earth roughly once each month. If they counted full moons that means someone who lived to 900 would have been about 75 years old or a bit older.

Imagine some old guy or gal proudly saying, “I have now lived for 1,000 full moons.”

In fact, now that I just Googled history of moon worship, I’m convinced it was the full moon.

“moon worship, adoration or veneration of the moon, a deity in the moon, or a personification or symbol of the moon. The sacredness of the moon has been connected with the basic rhythms of life and the universe. A widespread phenomenon, appearing in various eras and cultures, moon worship has engendered a rich symbolism and mythology.

“The moon is viewed in terms of the rhythmic life of the cosmos and is believed to govern all vital change. The cyclical process of disappearance and appearance of the moon is the basis of the widespread association of the moon with the land of the dead, the place to which souls ascend after death, and the power of rebirth. The lunar governance of this cycle likewise leads to association of the moon and fate.”

Nice post, and great theory. Have you been following the “ancient aliens” tv show? I advise you to check out the documentary I found on youtube or youku where an actual expert tore many of their theories proving the show to be a fraud. Thus tv shows alter facts so much as to tell a lie just to increase the entertainment factor and attract viewers.

    • I’ve heard of that TV show but never watched it.

It’s hard to believe we are alone in the universe. I think there is life on other plants around other stars, but the odds of that life being intelligent enough to develop a civilization that survives and goes on to travel between the stars is, I think, much higher than winning the lottery.

What would it take to stop humanity from reaching the stars? One city-sized asteroid hitting the earth and ending civilization as we know it throwing the survivors into a dark age that could last centuries or even thousands of years or even worse—wiping humanity off of the earth as it did the dinosaurs.

Science is discovering the universe is not a friendly and safe place. Even an eruption of activity on the sun could wipe out the earth’s electric grid and take down all communication throwing us back centuries in our development leading to famines, mass deaths, and wars that would make matters even worse.

yea I totally agree. That’s why it’s one of my long term life goals, that is if I can ever find the capability to be long term.
